A Breast Plate

The breastplate describes the kuia lineage of Te Arawa iwi and their arsonel of weaponery to guard nga tamariki and the last line of defence against cannibalism of the good spirit.

Grass skiing on cardboard down the slopy hills around maunga ngongotaha was a common past time where the kids would site the school bus and time their rides in time to make it back to their relevant bus stops.
